20-year-old Marsalis Carter drowned in Rose Township's Taylor Lake after jumping off a boat.
20-year-old Marsalis Quintin Carter from Detroit drowned in Rose Township's Taylor Lake on Saturday, after jumping off a pontoon boat and not resurfacing. The Oakland County Sheriff's Search and Rescue Team, along with additional divers from Genesee, Lapeer, Livingston, and Wayne counties, conducted a 13-hour search, finding Carter's body 300 feet from shore. The preliminary cause of death was ruled as drowning.
