43-year-old lawyer Kristy Lee Howell was arrested for smuggling drugs into Parklea Correctional Centre, Sydney. She was caught using balloons to bring in 106g of tobacco, 32 strips of the prescription-only painkiller buprenorphine, 18g of methamphetamine, and 3g of cocaine during a prison visit. Howell pleaded guilty to unlawfully bringing tobacco into the facility, and her case has been adjourned until August 16.
