Jerry Miller, founding guitarist of influential band Moby Grape, has passed away at 81. Born in 1943, Miller helped form the group in 1966, blending psychedelic rock, pop, and country music in their self-titled debut album in 1967. Miller recorded four more albums with the band before their initial split in 1971, reuniting with bandmates later and leading his own band, the Jerry Miller Band.
