84-year-old Australian radio network pioneer Bill Caralis passed away from a heart attack. Founder and chairman of Super Radio Network, he owned 43 stations across New South Wales and Southeast Queensland, making it the largest privately-owned network in the state. Caralis, known for his generosity and independence, will be succeeded by his two children as joint managing directors.
