50th anniversary memorial service held for 17-year-old Guardsman Graeme Lawson, first UN soldier killed in Cyprus in 1974. The service, organized by Washington History Society, was attended by over 50 people and included representatives from the Coldstream Guards, Washington Royal British Legion, and Holy Trinity Church. Lawson's name is planned to be added to a local war memorial before Remembrance Day.
