Tekken 8 brings back Heihachi Mishima as a DLC fighter in fall 2024, marking the first time with story DLC in the series.
Tekken 8 producer and director Katsuhiro Harada announced that Heihachi Mishima, a fan-favorite character who died in Tekken 7, will return as a DLC fighter in Tekken 8. He will be available for download in fall 2024 as part of Tekken 8's Season 1 DLC fighter roster. Heihachi's return marks the first time in series history that a Tekken game will include story DLC, adding to the main game's The Dark Awakens narrative.
