A home in Sale Creek was destroyed by fire on Sunday afternoon. A motorist reported a fire under the porch at 2:37 pm. Sale Creek Volunteer Fire Department arrived at 515 Coleman Cemetery Road and contained the fire to the structure and vehicle. No injuries were reported, and the cause of the fire will be investigated by the Hamilton County Sheriff's Office. The homeowners were using generators and propane tanks to power their home.
