Red Sox closer Kenley Jansen won't travel to Colorado due to altitude-induced heart issues.

Red Sox closer Kenley Jansen won't travel with the team to Colorado for their upcoming series against the Rockies due to heart issues triggered by altitude in the past. Jansen has dealt with atrial fibrillation since 2011 and has needed his heart shocked after pitching at Coors Field in 2012, 2018, and 2022. The Red Sox will play with a man short during the series.
