Ottawa Police's Arson Unit launched an investigation after human remains were found in a burnt vehicle on Speedway Road.

Human remains found inside a burnt vehicle on Speedway Road near Stittsville led the Ottawa Police Service's Arson Unit to launch an investigation. The vehicle fire was reported at around 7:24 a.m. on Sunday. One person was found dead in the car. Police and firefighters responded to the scene, with officers remaining on site as the investigation continued.
