NBA star LeBron James has been selected to carry the U.S. flag at the Paris Olympics' opening ceremony. James, a four-time Olympian, was chosen by his fellow U.S. Olympians to represent the United States as the male flag bearer in the Parade of Nations. He will be the first men's basketball player to carry the U.S. flag at an Olympics, joining Dawn Staley and Sue Bird, who held the honor at the Athens and Tokyo Games.
