21 Jul, Dambulla: Left-arm spinner Tanuja Kanwer made her international debut in the match against UAE after being drafted into India's squad for the 2024 Women's Asia Cup. She found out about her debut only on Sunday morning. In the WPL season, she was a standout player for Gujarat Giants, picking up 10 wickets at an average of 20.70 and an economy rate of 7.13. Tanuja took 1-14 in her debut game.
