Japan lifts trade restrictions on all table grape varieties, allowing Australian growers and exporters to offer more than 130 types to consumers from next season. The decision ends a decade of restrictions that limited exports to Crimson Seedless, Red Globe, and Thompson Seedless varieties. Australian Table Grape Association Chief Executive Jeff Scott sees this as an exciting time for the industry.
