The Houston Texans are reportedly planning to sign RB Cam Akers, who previously played with the Minnesota Vikings, following his Achilles injury, according to NFL Network's Ian Rapoport. Akers worked out for the Texans on Sunday, after the Vikings were said to be expected to bring him back, pending health. Akers has suffered Achilles tears to both legs since 2021, but rebounded with a 786-yard, seven-touchdown performance in 2022.
