Former PM Najib Razak and ex-treasury secretary-general denied DNAA for six criminal breach of trust charges; trial set for November 14th.
Former PM Najib Razak and ex-treasury secretary-general Irwan Serigar Abdullah failed to obtain a DNAA (Discharge Not Amounting to Acquittal) for six criminal breach of trust charges involving RM6.6bn. The Kuala Lumpur High Court denied the defence team's request due to the prosecution's lack of declassified trial documents. The judge instructed all parties to prepare for trial on November 14th.
