1,000+ deep-water blue jellyfish and red jellyfish with painful stings invade North Sjælland's coast in Denmark.
An unparalleled number of blue jellyfish, usually found in deep water, have been spotted along North Sjælland's coast in Denmark. According to Øresund Aquarium's manager Jens Peder Jeppesen, they were pushed into shallower, brackish waters, where they cannot survive. Additionally, red jellyfish, with more painful stings and longer tentacles, have also appeared in the area.
