33-year-old Richard Pennington of Kenova, WV was arrested and jailed on kidnapping charges after allegedly abducting his former girlfriend at gunpoint. The woman, aged 29, was treated and released from the hospital after she jumped out of a moving vehicle during the kidnapping. Pennington is charged with kidnapping, domestic assault, domestic battery, brandishing, assault, and felony destruction of property.
