58-year-old Lynard Edward Hunter was arrested and charged with attempted first-degree murder after attacking his mother in Denver. Hunter called 911 to report the attack, and his 77-year-old mother was taken to a local hospital in critical condition. Hunter admitted to becoming upset with his mother and beating her, and is being held with no bond at the Harven A. Crouse Detention Center.
