22-year-old Kiwi pilot, Adam Snell, died in a plane crash in the Australian Outback, near Mulgathing Merino sheep station. Snell's ashes are being brought back to Auckland by his family. He had completed a Bachelor's degree in Aviation at Massey University and worked at Mulgathing station. Massey University School of Aviation expressed their deep sadness and conveyed their condolences to Snell's family and friends.
