48-year-old Danny Anakalea, a wanted felon from California, was arrested by Washoe County deputies on July 18. They responded to a welfare check on Honey Lake Way in Fish Springs for a possible domestic violence victim. Anakalea had a felony warrant out of California for absconding parole and was wanted for battery with a deadly weapon. Multiple deputies were sent due to the remote location and violent charges.
