34-year-old Brent Suter, Cincinnati Reds left-handed pitcher, has been placed on the 15-day injured list due to a partial tear in his left teres major muscle in his throwing shoulder. Suter is unable to throw for four to six weeks while the injury heals, but hopes to return to the team before the end of the season. The Reds recalled right-hander Casey Legumina from Triple-A Louisville as a corresponding move.
