Vedanta Ltd becomes preferred bidder for two critical mineral blocks in Karnataka and Bihar.
Vedanta Ltd acquired two critical mineral blocks, Gollarahatti-Mallenahalli Nickel Chromium and PGE Block in Karnataka, and Genjana Nickel, Chromium and PGE Block in Bihar, at G4 and G3 levels of exploration respectively. The company has been declared as the preferred bidder for both blocks. The mining ministry had put these blocks on sale as part of the critical minerals blocks auction.
