Tampa Bay Rays pitcher Ryan Pepiot was hospitalized due to a knee infection, leading to his placement on the 15-day injured list and missing his scheduled start against Toronto. Right-hander Tyler Zuber has been recalled from Triple-A Durham and is set to make his first major league appearance in three years. Pepiot, acquired from the Dodgers in December, has a 3.92 ERA in 17 starts this season.
