Saudi Arabia's Talat Moustafa Group has begun construction on a large-scale smart city, "Banan City," northeast of Riyadh. The 10-million-square-meter project combines smart technology, sustainability, and residential privacy for over 120,000 residents. Construction commenced two months after an advertising campaign featuring prominent media personality Waleed Al-Faraj and Egyptian actor Karim Abdel Aziz.
