Popular Iowa State Fair sandwich shop Crescenti's will be absent this year due to owner's retirement.

Crescenti's, a popular sandwich shop at Iowa State Fair since 1983, will not be present this year as owner Barry Vosler retires. The Italian sandwich staple won't be present during the 11-day event from August 8th. Fairgoers can still explore the variety of food options available.
