1 person dead, 1 detained by Border Patrol after desert rescue in Doña Ana County. Two individuals called for help in the desert area near Sunland Park, and search and rescue teams from Sunland Park Fire, Border Patrol, and Doña Ana Fire Rescue located them. Medical care was provided at the scene, but one person died, while the other was taken into Border Patrol custody. The survivor's condition is unknown.
