4 people, including a mother and her two children, were found dead inside a Brooklyn apartment on Friday night following a reported assault. The police discovered the oldest victim, Fayzieva Mavlyuda, 56, dead with multiple stab wounds. The other victims, Maftuna Khakimova, 27, and her two children, Kamila Shavkatova, 5, and Timur Shavkatov, 4, were also found dead in the home. A 24-year-old man was taken into custody in connection with the incident, but his connection to the victims has not yet been disclosed.
