Pakistan reports 9th polio case of 2024 in Balochistan's Zhob district, total cases rise to nine. The one and a half-year-old infant from Zhob's Union Council 2 in the Hassanzai area was confirmed to have contracted the poliovirus. The government has conducted six anti-polio campaigns this year and advises people to get their children administered anti-polio doses with multiple doses being the most effective way to prevent the disease.
