Pakistani screenwriter Khalilur Rehman Qamar was kidnapped and robbed in Lahore, as per his family. Qamar was invited to a woman's home for a project discussion, where armed men kidnapped him. The kidnappers demanded a ransom and stole his belongings, including transferring Rs250,000 from his ATM card. Qamar was later found abandoned in a deserted area, and a case has been registered by the Lahore police.
