Odisha's government announced an investigation into alleged irregularities in the construction of the Biju Janata Dal (BJD) headquarters, Sankha Bhawan, in Bhubaneswar, including allegations of illegal land diversion. Revenue Minister Suresh Pujari said those responsible for any misconduct would face action. The BJD denied any wrongdoing, stating that the allotment was approved by the same high-powered committee that cleared land for the BJP headquarters.
