NCB Mumbai busted an interstate drug cartel, seized 3000 bottles of codeine-based cough syrup, and arrested 3 traffickers. The NCB intensified surveillance near Ulhasnagar in Thane district, where the suspects were apprehended receiving contraband parcels. The drug was smuggled from Lucknow and allegedly used for its intoxicating effects. The operation resulted in the seizure of approximately 300 kg of syrup.
