Iranian destroyer Sahand, capsized during maintenance, is salvaged off Bandar Abbas coast.
Iranian destroyer Sahand, which capsized off the coast of Bandar Abbas, has been salvaged after nearly two weeks. The semi-official Fars news agency reported that the vessel was pulled out of the water using 1,000-tonne marine cranes and technical and engineering units of the Iranian Navy. The Sahand had capsized during maintenance due to water infiltrating its ballast tanks.
