Imran Khan's wife, Bushra Bibi, has expressed serious concerns about her husband's safety in Rawalpindi's Adiala Jail, claiming that he is being held in inhumane conditions and given contaminated food. She fears for his life and criticized the treatment of political prisoners compared to convicted criminals, stating that her husband faces worse conditions than others who receive VIP treatment. Khan, who faces over 200 cases, has been convicted in a few of them.
