Foreign Portfolio Investors (FPIs) have invested ₹30,772 crore in Indian equities so far this month, driven by hopes of continued policy reforms, sustained economic growth, and a better-than-expected earnings season, according to the data with the depositories. This comes after FPIs made a net inflow of ₹26,565 crore in equities in the entire month of June. The net inflows are expected to continue if the recent trend of weakness in the dollar and bond yields persists, as FPIs may continue buying in the market.
