Stevens County deputy prosecutor attacked by machete-wielding suspect; suspect shot and killed by law enforcement. Deputy Prosecutor Smitty Hagopian, who suffered a serious injury to his face, was able to provide a description of the suspect. The suspect was found shortly after, charged at a deputy with the machete, and was shot and killed. Hagopian is expected to make a full recovery.
