Coal India Limited (CIL) diversifies into non-coal mineral mining with a graphite project after receiving a composite license from the Ministry of Mines for Khattali Chhoti Graphite Block in Madhya Pradesh. This is CIL's first venture into mining minerals other than coal. The timeline for the grant of the composite license is one year and three years for the execution of the mining lease deed.
