Barbados-based Caribbean Development Bank (CDB) confirms removal of Dr. Hyginus Leon as its president. The internal administrative process involving Leon has concluded, and the vice president (operations), Isaac Solomon, will act as president until a new president is elected. The process for electing a new president has commenced, with the Board of Governors invited to submit nominations by August 26, 2024.
