The Antler Creek wildfire, discovered near Wells, east of Quesnel in British Columbia, has grown to 170 hectares as of Sunday morning. The BC Wildfire Service is battling the out-of-control Rank 3 fire, characterized by organized flame fronts, moderate rate of spread, and candle-like spots. Initial reports of the fire, first detected on July 20th, positioned it 12 kilometers southeast of Wells.
