AAP protests against LG VK Saxena for allegedly ordering 1,100 tree felling in Delhi's Satbari forest.
Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) staged a protest against Delhi's Lt Governor VK Saxena, accusing him of ordering the felling of 1,100 trees in a protected forest area, Satbari, in Delhi's southern Ridge. AAP claims the trees were cut for a road widening project by the Delhi Development Authority (DDA) based on the LG's verbal instructions. The Supreme Court, which is overseeing the case, has criticized both the LG and the AAP government.
