63-year-old California woman died on a beach near McCarty's Cove in Marquette after an AED incident involving cardiac arrest. Lifeguards pulled her from shallow water, CPR was initiated and continued by emergency medical services. Resuscitation efforts were unsuccessful, and the incident remains under investigation.
