100 villagers near the India-Nepal border were rescued from flash floods in Chahalwa village after excess water from Nepal caused the Ghaghra river to surge. The villagers were trapped in their agricultural fields on the opposite side of the river. Rescue teams from SSB, PAC, and NDRF worked throughout the night, providing food and medical aid, with officials remaining on-site until the situation normalizes.
