Union Minister of State for Commerce and Industry, Jitin Prasada, was involved in a car accident in Pilibhit district, Uttar Pradesh, during a tour of his Lok Sabha constituency. His car collided with another vehicle in his convoy, causing minor damage and injuries. The accident took place amidst flood relief efforts in the district after heavy rainfall and inundation in at least six districts of Uttar Pradesh.
