Mysterious patterns have appeared on a remote hill in North Wales, sparking various conspiracy theories. The abstract symbol markings on the Hiraethog moors, near the Conwy-Denbighshire border, have led to suggestions that aliens or drunk farmers might be responsible. Motor-glider pilot Simon Grice first spotted the bizarre geoglyphs while flying back from Snowdon, likening them to the Nazca lines.
