Tasmanian Governor names Spirit of Tasmania V ferry in Finland, part of Tasmania's 2030 infrastructure plan.
Tasmanian Governor Barbara Baker named the second new Spirit of Tasmania ferry, Spirit of Tasmania V, in Finland at a traditional ceremony. This vessel is part of the 2030 Strong Plan for Tasmania's Future and will provide bigger and better infrastructure for Tasmanians. The ferry, along with its sister ship, will have substantially larger capacity for passengers, vehicles, and freight, operating between Geelong and Devonport in Australia's Bass Strait.
