1 person died and another was injured in a fire at a seniors housing complex in downtown Calgary's East Village. The fire occurred at the Geo C. King Tower, a seven-storey building, after an "explosion" was reported in a fourth-floor suite at around 3:45 p.m. on Friday. The Calgary Police Service's arson unit was called in, but it does not mean they suspect anything suspicious.
