Nigeria's Inspector General of Police, Kayode Egbetokun, reported a decrease in crime rates across the country during a meeting with President Bola Tinubu at the Presidential Villa in Abuja. Egbetokun attributed the decline to effective synergy and strategies implemented by security agencies. President Tinubu urged security forces to maintain their collaborative efforts in order to reduce crime rates even further.
