Nebraska Racing and Gaming Commission approves Hastings Exposition and Racing's Quarter Horse track license in Ogallala, partnering with Elite Casino Resorts.

Nebraska Racing and Gaming Commission unanimously approved a racing license application from Hastings Exposition and Racing, Inc. to establish a Quarter Horse track in Ogallala near Lake McConaughy, partnering with Elite Casino Resorts, which currently operates the Grand Island Casino Resort. The planned casino resort complex includes a hotel, restaurants, and truck stop and will be owned and operated by Elite Casino Resorts. The project is pending Nebraska Racing and Gaming Commission approval of the gaming application.
