Nebraska Democratic Party objects to Robert F. Kennedy Jr.'s nonpartisan candidacy for state's ballot.
The Nebraska Democratic Party has filed an objection to independent presidential candidate Robert F. Kennedy Jr. appearing on the state's ballot. The party argues that Kennedy and his running mate, Nicole Shanahan, are not nonpartisan candidates under state law, as they have sought ballot access in other states as nominees of minor parties. The Secretary of State, Bob Evnen, will make a decision on Kennedy's eligibility by September 13th.
