Gas prices in the Lower Atlantic region rose for the second week in a row, reaching an average of $3.39 per gallon, up from last week's $3.37, according to the U.S. Energy Information Administration. The region's gas prices have risen by 16 cents since last month, making them about 2.9% lower than the national average of $3.50. Last year, the average gas price in the Lower Atlantic region was 3% lower at $3.30 per gallon.
