Kenya's President William Ruto nominated Rebecca Miano as the country's first female Attorney General, following Justin Muturi's departure. Miano, with over 30 years of experience in the energy sector, previously held the position of Cabinet Secretary for the East African Community. If approved by Parliament, Miano would join Chief Justice Martha Koome and other senior female officials in Kenya's justice system.
