Kenyan Deputy Information Minister Sylvester Tetteh recounted violent protests in Kenya that led to deaths and the withdrawal of unpopular tax rises. Police banned protests in Nairobi and surrounding areas. Following the violence, some citizens called for the president's resignation. Tetteh, speaking on Peace FM's morning show, warned Ghanaians that Kenyans will pay a price for their violent protests.
